PINK TIGER!!

I was babysitting a little girl last week and she found herself into my craft room. She saw all the plushies I made and wanted one. I told her I could give her one or make a special one just for her. So she ended up designing one. Its was so funny because she would reject all my suggestions! I was "Are you sure you want this in it?" throughout the whole proses. At the end this is what she came up with. I can't remember what she named it.

I got the body pattern from a Japanese book.
I also wanted to say CONGRATS to my cousin. She just had her baby boy. WELCOME TO THE WORLD MOISES!

I'm back!!

I finally had time to sit and finish some plushies I was working on. Ihopr you like them. This a lil'pals bunny I made and added this really cute green polka-dot fabric on it.

I also made this orange flower kitty. I love this print!! Its so adorable.

p.s. I been really busy because one of my good friends had her baby last week and I had to babysit her little girl. I just wanted to say CONGRATS to them and I wish them the very best! :D

Shopping

Haven't done much sewing lately, school and life in the way. This weekend I went to see my sis and went shopping! Had a good time then got sick yesterday...bleh. Now I'm sick but have to go to school because these are the last weeks and we are getting really busy.....sigh. I miss my sewing machine. I can't wait for school to be over. My brother and I are working on a new project. Right now we are just throwing ideas. Hopefully it takes off.

Birthday Weekend!

Yesterday was my birthday!! My best friend came down to visit. I finally saw Avatar in 3D (really good movie), ate a delicious chocolate cake and went shopping. I had a very good birthday weekend. Also I just posted three new plushies on my Etsy Shop.

You can see how big my new plushy is compared to my regular lil'plushies. I love how this one came out. I love the mushroom fabric.

This little crazy envious mouse couldn't helped being different from the other little mice. His ears and tail are too big so he went crazy from all the ear pulling and tail stomping. He is one of a kind.
My hubby wanted to design a plush. So this is what he came up with, story and all and of course I sewed it. I kinda feel sorry for the poor little mouse.

Lots of Sewing

I been sewing a lot latelly. This is what I been up to.

I made some business cards and my dear cousin gave me some awesome cuteturtle fabric and I made me a little card holder. I found this awesome tutorial from Quilted Cupcake. I kinda broke my sewing machine needle doing this. I guess my fabric was to thick for it but it's all fixed now. :D

I also made a very cozy pouch for my sis and my ferret. He is going to love it! I made it so it can be reversible. Its suppose to be dark purple and black but it looks blue in the picture.


Last, I made two new plushies. These are bigger that my usual ones. They measure about 6.5in (16.5cm) sitting. They also had arms and legs. :D You can know adopt them at my Etsy Shop.

Hello 2010!!

I'm welcoming the new year with open arms!! I'm so excited for the new year. I already drew up some new ideas. Hopefully I don't get lazy this time. My New Year's resolutions are: don't be lazy, do good in school (going back to school and very nerves!), update my blog more, maybe do some commissions, and have a baby. Also, I am making new Valentine Plushies. I just finished a lil'bear and will be making more so stay tuned!

Busy Holiday

I love Christmas! Its one of my favorite holidays but right now I'm pooped out! I have bought most of my gifts. I just need to shop for a couple more....sigh. Also I started sewing more. I made some plushies and I even made some wallets. I gave them away before taking pictures. :/

I'm doing really good physically. I started sewing again. I made a lil'bunny while I was gone. I went to my parents house for Thanksgiving. It was a very nice Thanksgiving. I hope every one (that celebrates thanksgiving) had a good one too.

Christmas is around the corner! I cant wait for it. I love Christmas! Its time for me to go shopping for gifts. I guess that is why i love it so much. I love buying things for others. :)

sad news...

I found out Wed that my baby had passed away. I went in for my 16wk OB appointment and the doc couldn't find the heartbeat. They did a couple of ultra sounds and found out that the baby stopped growing at 14wks. I'm home right now and ok. I would be lying if I said I'm feeling fine. I been crying. It's just really hard since it was my first pregnancy and my husband and I were really excited. I know God has His reasons and now my baby is in a better place now.

I am still alive!

yes....i'm not dead yet. It has been really busy for me. I went back to work last month then i found out i was pregnant!! Yep, m hubby and I are expecting our first baby. Well, I was 5wk when I found out I was preggers. Then when i was 6wk I had to go to the emergency room. The doctors kept telling me that i might loose the baby. This Monday i had an ultrasound and found out that the baby is ok. We even got to hear and see the little baby's heartbeat! We were so relived! The doc said i needed rest and they will keep an eye on me. I have two more appointments this month. So I had to take a leave of absence from work.

Now that i'm not working, i will have time to get back to my sewing! YAY!

Pillow Plushies

So i been sewing and sewing. Well, not as much s a would like to. Since i decided to work the summer i haven't had a chance to make stuff for my shop. I did get to make some lil'key animals for my coworkers. They wanted a monkey, frog and a ducky.


one of my coworkers wanted a turtle pillow. i thought that would be cute and i sat down and came up with these PILLOW PLUSHIES! the turtle is my friend's and the bunny and bear are on sale at my shop!

i also finished yet another art trade. i made a lil'panda for the lovely AntaresPuchu down at DeavianArt. its the first one i made by using my sewing machine.

sew sew sew...

I finished another art trade!! I am so glad! She wanted a lil'Okami. I didn't know what it was so a googled it and found some pretty good pics of it. So then i tried to make it my own version of it. I think she liked it. I have three more to go.


I also finished a new bunny. It's a whole new pattern. I'm calling these plushies FLOPS. Flop plushies love to flop wherever. They love to be carried around and go to new places, especially if its with you. I posted it on my Esty and got sold that same day. There are a few people that want it so i'm going to make more Flop bunnies. It is made out of fleece so its really soft.






I bought a new sewing machine!!! It's not expensive since i haven't sew by machine in years. I really needed one because i keep getting orders from people but its really time consuming sewing by hand. i don't mind sewing by hand it actually relaxes me but i would love to post more plushies on Etsy for people.

wow!! I'm so sorry I haven't updated or up loaded anything. I'm so sorry guys. Well, let see, my Birthday came and went. I got money and a small laptop from my hubby so I can take it anywhere. I went to Mexico (before the whole swine flu drama). Really didn't do much just hanged out with my family. I've also finished two art trades. A red lobster for Tasha and a daisy pincushion for LoneHana. I'm so glad they loved them. :D



Lately my kids at work have been taking all my creativity away! Everyday they ask me to draw something for them that by the time i get home all my creativity juices are super low. So from now on i have to work on my crafts before i go to work. Right now i'm working on another art trade and a little bunny. :)

Happy New Year!! I know its a little late but i still wanted to wish y'all a happy new year. I really haven't done much sewing. I been really busy with the Holidays. Then I got sick and then my husband got the PRK eye laser surgery done. I did manage to make some mushroom picushions and a blue lil'teddy.






I finally started on my art trades. I finished a pair of white lions that Fizzie Kiwi wanted. I'm just waiting for her to finish with mine so I can send her these cutie pies! I will be working and a lobster for Tasha and a little daisy pincushion for LoneHana this week . BTW the little pixel art on the top right corner of my blog was made by LoneHana for me as part of our art trade. It is adorable!!

Hello...

Well, i hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving!! I did!! i ate lots of turkey..... mmmmm ...... (^.^) Now I'm getting ready for Christmas. I got most of my decorations up, yay!! And I got an early Christmas present .....

OMG i haven't updated since September!!!! I'm so sorry. Well lets see, I got a new job!!! I really like it. I work at an after school program. I have 19 Kindergarteners for 4hrs! They are a hand full but it's also fun playing with them. (^.^) I've also made some new plushies.

yay!! i finally had time to make more little keychains!! besides that i haven't done much i been watching the Olympics......yes i'm hooked!!! i love Michael Phelps!! i think his the missing link between dolphins and humans! I love Alexander Artemev's breakdancing on the Pommel Horse and the Chinese gymnastic girls kick ass!! i especially love Deng Linlin she looks so cute and incredible when she is out there. Some people are saying that the team looks too young to be 16. i think so too but they are still incredible and fun to watch!! I can't wait to see the All-Around womens tonight.
