Shopping

Haven't done much sewing lately, school and life in the way. This weekend I went to see my sis and went shopping! Had a good time then got sick yesterday...bleh. Now I'm sick but have to go to school because these are the last weeks and we are getting really busy.....sigh. I miss my sewing machine. I can't wait for school to be over. My brother and I are working on a new project. Right now we are just throwing ideas. Hopefully it takes off.

Birthday Weekend!

Yesterday was my birthday!! My best friend came down to visit. I finally saw Avatar in 3D (really good movie), ate a delicious chocolate cake and went shopping. I had a very good birthday weekend. Also I just posted three new plushies on my Etsy Shop.

You can see how big my new plushy is compared to my regular lil'plushies. I love how this one came out. I love the mushroom fabric.

This little crazy envious mouse couldn't helped being different from the other little mice. His ears and tail are too big so he went crazy from all the ear pulling and tail stomping. He is one of a kind.
My hubby wanted to design a plush. So this is what he came up with, story and all and of course I sewed it. I kinda feel sorry for the poor little mouse.

sad news...

I found out Wed that my baby had passed away. I went in for my 16wk OB appointment and the doc couldn't find the heartbeat. They did a couple of ultra sounds and found out that the baby stopped growing at 14wks. I'm home right now and ok. I would be lying if I said I'm feeling fine. I been crying. It's just really hard since it was my first pregnancy and my husband and I were really excited. I know God has His reasons and now my baby is in a better place now.

I am still alive!

yes....i'm not dead yet. It has been really busy for me. I went back to work last month then i found out i was pregnant!! Yep, m hubby and I are expecting our first baby. Well, I was 5wk when I found out I was preggers. Then when i was 6wk I had to go to the emergency room. The doctors kept telling me that i might loose the baby. This Monday i had an ultrasound and found out that the baby is ok. We even got to hear and see the little baby's heartbeat! We were so relived! The doc said i needed rest and they will keep an eye on me. I have two more appointments this month. So I had to take a leave of absence from work.

Now that i'm not working, i will have time to get back to my sewing! YAY!

Back From Break

yep, i'm back from my little break. i had lots of fun at my cousins house!! we are both craft freaks so we would stay up all night looking at fabric and different crafts on line...hehe! oh, i also watch The Cat in the Hat a billion times. my little nephews are crazy for it and that is all they would watch over and over again. We also celebrated my nephew and sister's Birthday!! here are some pics!!

and i finally finished my sister's giraffe!! she liked it..yay!! well, i'm going to work on some projects i have running around my mind. i'm making Tinker Bell and another Chibi Doll for my little cousins. i can't stop thinking of them. i'm excited!! i can't wait to finish them and show them to yall!!

Thanksgiving Trip

well, we are all packed and ready to go to my parents' house for thanksgiving! i was looking for a small bag to pack my sewing stuff. i found a purse that i don't use anymore and its the right size!! so i stuffed full of sewing projects that i can do during the trip (4hr trip)! well see yall later (^.^)
BTW: i have a cold!! blah!!! :(

Chibi Me

made a chibi-plushie of myself! i think its cute :D I'm still working on the giraffe for my sister. we are also going to my hometown for Thanksgiving. we are going to spend it with family. i'll probably take the giraffe project with me so i can finish it :D. that ll for now!!! (^_^)

Camping

I went camping with my sister and some friends. i had lots of scary and fun times! we went hiking. we crossed a raging river!! we made a bonfire and ate smores...yummy.

i been lazy. i just started on a new project. i'm making a giraffe for my sister and i'm also going to start on some duckies so i can open my Esty store.... hopefully!!!

renaissance festival

we got to go the renaissance festival this weekend! i had a blast. got to see belly dancers, birds of pray, sword fighting, singing and dancing!! i also shopped. i bought myself a really cool leaf-blade thing. it looks like a leaf and when you open it's a blade. i also bought a belly dancer scarf. it has coins hanging from it and it makes noise when you walk :D. we also go to see the knights jousting and sword fighting. at the end we got to see the fireworks...lovely!!

P.S. I didn't have a chance to post my new plushie. i made it for Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) hope yall like it!!

Satuday Night

Yesterday my husband was out most of the day!! he is in the USAF Honor Guard. he had to do two funerals yesterday! i was so bored and lonely. he didn't come home till 7pm. so i told him i wanted to do something. we went to the mall. i was trying to find the new yotsuba&! manga. no luck!! he bought an Egyptian book (he loves Egyptian history). after the mall we headed to barnes 'n noble. didn't find yotsuba&!. so i went to look at the arts 'n craft section. i couldn't find anything, bummer!! then we headed to CiCi's. i love CiCi's!!! After CiCi's we went to Wal-Mart. i was trying to find some Valentina hot sauce. that stuff is the bomb!!!! but they didn't have any.....sigh. everything i was looking for they didn't have. so i went to the cd section to find the Camila cd i been wanting and guess what???? IT WAS THERE..... so i bought it!! Finally something i wanted and they had it!!!! Well that is about it. i got to go.....i'm hungry!

my parents might be coming for the weekend. MAYBE?! i hope so. i won't know until my dad gets off from work later today. if they can't come and going to start on more plushies. i want to open an Esty store!!! so i'll have this weekend to organize the store :)

Almost Done

yep! i'm almost done with both plushies for my nephews. i'm done with the little chick! i hope Cy likes it :) know i'm working on the elephant. i'm just taking a little break and eating a snack while watching King of Queens. i love that show!!
