long time no write!

I know, its been a while! haven't done much crafting since my last post. I'm kinda going through a dry spell but that is about to be over. i got a couple of orders and i got some ideas in my head that i need to get out!! :D
The last thing i made was a penguin. Every time my hubby would see a penguin anywhere he would say that he would love to have a penguin as a pet but since we really can't have a penguin as a pet i made him a plushie penguin instead!! I gave it to him for Valentine's Day! he loved it!!


Also, my uncle and his family came down to visit us all the way from Mexico! It was so much fun. I took them shopping, played some Wii, and they even got a chance to play some soccer in the back yard!

Frog Prince

so i made a little Frog Prince for a contest at Deviant Art. I still don't know if i should enter this one or another one i'm working on?? It's still really cute!! i like how it came out. i like the little kiss on his cheek. :D Oh, i also made some heart brooches/pins for Valentine's Day to sale at my Esty shop.

New Year Resolution!!

one of my New Years Resolution was to be more GREEN!! i already recycle plastic bottle tops for my pincushions and i recycle the plastic bottles. Today i was trying to mail a pincushion that someone bought from me and notice that i didn't have any boxes. the last time i tried to buy a box i couldn't find one small enough for the little items i make. so i was looking around my house and found a small candle box. the box was old and sticky....(O.o) so i was bummed...then i got and idea. i took a cereal box and traced the old candle box on it!!! Not only do i have a box small enough for my items but I'm recycling them too!!! I also use a paper bag i get from the grocery store to wrap the box instead of buying the brown paper roll!!

I'm also exited because i might get that Japaneses pattern book today!!

AWESOME DAY!!

yay! i'm back on track! yesterday i finished an owl pincushion i was working on. its on sale in my Etsy SHOP!! i also finished a red flower pincushion a lady asked me to do for her. she wanted a little ribbon hoop so she can hang it instead of the wrist band pincushion. i think it came out pretty nice. :D today a DeviantArt friend posted that she wanted to do art trades. i asked her if she would do an art trade with me. i was so happy when she said yes!! i'm going to get a really cute amigurumi Moon Bun w/a little blue cape and she is going to receive from me a pink mushroom pincushion!! i'm so excited!! tomorrow i might get this really cute Japanese pattern book i really want!! oh, i also went out and bought the new Backstreet Boys CD with my Christmas gift card!! what an awesome day!!
