i'm going to make a german chocolate and caramel apples! my inlaws are coming this weekend and we are going to BB-Q for him. (^.^)

yay!! i finally had time to make more little keychains!! besides that i haven't done much i been watching the Olympics......yes i'm hooked!!! i love Michael Phelps!! i think his the missing link between dolphins and humans! I love Alexander Artemev's breakdancing on the Pommel Horse and the Chinese gymnastic girls kick ass!! i especially love Deng Linlin she looks so cute and incredible when she is out there. Some people are saying that the team looks too young to be 16. i think so too but they are still incredible and fun to watch!! I can't wait to see the All-Around womens tonight. Oh and i was so happy when Mexico won the bronze in synchronized diving!! Well, enough about that here are some pics of my new animal keychains. you can purchase them at my Etsy Shop.

4th of July Weekend

I hope everyone had a Happy 4th of JULY!!!

my in-laws came down this weekend. Friday we went to a festival. didn't take pictures of it because it started raining. we had to go back home but i did enjoy a turkey leg and a lemonade, oh, and a funnel cake...yummy. we got home and watched the Macy's fireworks on tv. they were really cool. once it got dark we headed down to see the fireworks. awesome!!!




On Saturday we headed to the Market place. for those that don't know i live in San Antonio. the Market place is a little piece of Mexico. Got to see some Folklórico dances. most people don't know but when i lived in Mexico i us to be in folkloric dance. so when i watched the little girls dance it took me back. after watching the dancers we walked the market place and found lots of cute things.

i found some dolls like the one i bought in Mexico, except these were a little more expensive and i saw my being made :D

I'm BACK....

...what, i was gone!?! YEP, i left to Mexico two weeks ago!!! the bus ride was so long but it was worth it!! i had lots of fun and ate a lot. time to get back on the treadmill...hehe! I visited both of my Grandmas' house and a lot of aunts and uncles!!! i love the bright color houses. it kinda makes me happy!!

In one of my aunt's house we had a Bar-b-q!! it was deliciouses!! her back yard was full of awesome plants and decorations. i couldn't help it and took some pix! :D she had a pomegranate tree. i just wished they were riped. she also had lots of cactus!

on her walls she had the cutest little houses decorations. We also had the change to meet the next door neighbor's horse!! i was a little scared to touch it at first.

inside her house i found the littlest frame with a cross-stitch design i ever saw!! it was about 3x3!! i love finding little treasures that people have around there house!! They also had an inside water fountain and at the very top of it a found two little turtles!! hehe...
we also got on a "combi" (bus) to the Mercado (the market). once we got to downtown it was time to take a little walk. man, i'm really out of shape!!! i got to see some leopards and tigers. the circus was coming to town and they were adverting it. i got to touch them!!! we didn't have time to go tough.

i love the Mercado! its full of colors and smells!! my cousin found a funny mask and i found some cool Day of the Dead items. right outside the Mercado i found a lady making little dolls. i couldn't help it and bought one!! its adorable!!
